One room. The kitchen is the bedroom. The air has to work overnight and after you cook.

A studio is not a “small room” in a house. Cooking smoke, sleep, and living share one volume. Advice written for a detached home — or for a closed bedroom that is not also a kitchen — does not transfer cleanly. The useful constraint is portable and no-install: a machine you plug in, move, and take at move-out.
